Brownies
A vintage brownie recipe

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 oz flour
- 3 lbs sugar
- 11 oz cocoa
- 2 1/2 oz butter
- 1 Tbs salt
- 3 cups Karo syrup
- 3 cups whole eggs
- 1/4 cup vanilla
- 1/2 lb pecans

Melt butter and all liquid ingredients, beat together

Then add dry ingredients and mix very little

Add nut just before you finish mixing

Bake (do not overbake)
25-30 mins • 325°F
Tips & Notes
- • Do not over cook!
- • Look for the edges to be set and slightly pull away from the pan. The center will still look slightly moist but not liquid.
