Blondies (Butterscotch Brownies)
A handwritten vanilla cake recipe with what appears to be a two-layer or two-component preparation method, topped with a lemon glaze.

Ingredients
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg
- 1 1/3 c flour
- vanilla
- salt
- 1 1/2 c brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- salt
- 2 tb flour
- pan
- 1 c powdered sugar
- lemon juice

Combine the first 6 ingredients and bake for 15 minutes. (Base Layer)

Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour over the base layer and bake for 25 mins.

Make glaze with powdered confectioners sugar and lemon juice. Pour over top of warm blondies.
