Frog Legs

Ingredients
- 1-1/2 c milk
- 1 egg
- 1 or 2 c cracker meal
- 1/2 to 3/4 c shortening
- 6 or 8 pair frog legs
- Salt and pepper
- Accent
Instructions

Beat egg and blend well with the milk. Season and flour frog legs.

Dip in batter and then in cracker meal.

Melt shortening in heavy skillet. (Melted shortening should be 1/2" deep.)

Brown well on both sides, cover and cook slowly about 25 mins., or until tender.
