Egg Pie

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 c. homogenized milk
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 tsp. yellow food coloring
- 1 9" unbaked pie shell
Instructions

Beat eggs slightly, add sugar, milk, nutmeg, vanilla and coloring.

Add butter which has been melted until brown.

Pour into pie shell and bake at 450° until light brown.

Reduce heat to 350° and bake until custard is firm.
